Facilities
The Grove is perfect for mature couples wanting a break (anything from simple peace and quiet to a full programme of activities) in surroundings which are comfortable; for parents of students at Bangor University and for business people.
Ample off-road free parking at the top of a gated drive
Landscaped gardens with outdoor seating areas and tables for relaxation
Wi-fi internet access
Packed lunches by prior arrangement
We can help you to plan your break (including transfers to and from airports, seaports, coach stations and railway stations if you want to leave the car behind ~ in which case you might also want us to suggest tours for you, or local taxis)
We provide a comprehensive list of restaurants, cafes and pubs where you can enjoy the best of local cuisine for lunches and evening meals, and we can help with arrangements for taxis so you needn't worry about having a drink or finding your way around.
We provide comprehensive information on activities and a well stocked library, including many items to enrich your experience of this beautiful corner of Wales.
The area has many golf courses (links and parkland), marinas, bird and wildlife sanctuaries, stately homes and castles, mountain and shoreline walks, cycle tracks, sea/lake/river/hatchery fishing, narrow gauge railways and a host of other visitor attractions
See our "Location" and "Links" pages
We regret that The Grove is not suitable for those with access difficulties (all guest rooms are on the first floor with stair access only), nor do we cater for children or pets (but our pets will be happy to give you a welcome if you like animals).
We ask that guests refrain from smoking in The Grove
